Considerations

Put your quarter in...

First, I need a written description of what you would like me to draw. While exact detail is not required, the more information you provide, the better.

In general, my best work comes from well-considered and fun ideas! I love opportunities to add visual jokes and extra detail. If anything is unclear, I will ask for more details about the character or the scene before confirming payment.

If you have existing art of your character, great!! Send it my way at first contact.

If not, I can use a text description, photo of an animal, a moodboard, or other inspiration material to roughly design the character. Including some details about their personality, interests, and taste in clothing are great things to consider and may make the difference between a mediocre commission and a great commission.

Please remember to include your preferred screen-name and a link to your website or social media profile. I would love to link back to you!!

Once payment is recieved, your place is secured in the queue. I will begin at the earliest possible time.

In most cases, drawings are planned and sketched in Clip Studio, then inked and colored in Inkscape. I use 3D models to compose scenes, and may composite a scene from existing photos.

In general, I will agree to minor revisions. I aim to be accurate to the description I am given, but I am a creature capable of error. I will not charge for minor adjustments, but last-minute changes and major additions may be charged additionally $17 per hour.

Result

Work is gathered on a monthly basis, and I aim to complete all work by the end of the month.

Most drawings are completed within 3-10 hours of work. Detailed commissions may take as long as 25 hours. You may expect a week from sketch to completion in most cases. I will contact you with updates and questions via your preferred contact method.

You will receive the original SVG file, for personal use only. This file is native to Inkscape. The image comes with toggle-able layers and may be exported to any resolution you desire.

Example: Conbadges may be printed and worn with the signature removed. Avatars may be freely altered for things like seasonal theming. In all cases, I would greatly appreciate a link back to this website where possible.

Privacy and Tracking

I maintain a private spreadsheet of commission information. This spreadsheet includes commissioner names, commission history, contact information, and payment details.

Your details are kept confidential. I will not sell or share your information with others. I will not send unsolicited mail or messages.

Sensitive personal photos are erased upon commission completion.
